<title>Downtown Winterfest</title>
<description><![CDATA[Downtown Lodi hosts the annual Downtown Winterfest on Saturdays, November 28th, December 5th, and December 12th from 12 noon to 4p.m. Downtown merchants will be hosting their Holiday Open Houses with their holiday specials, music, refreshments, and drawings on these special saturdays in Downtown Lodi. Come celebrate the holidays in&nbsp;Downtown Lodi&nbsp;with horse-drawn carriage rides for only $1 per person or&nbsp;donate to the&nbsp;Toy Drive <EM>benefiting Children's Dreamworks, Lodi Adopt-A-Child, &amp; Salvation Army </EM>in exchange for a carriage ride. The streets of Downtown Lodi will be filled with Christmas Music, and local youth organizations selling Holiday Swags, Cookies, Hot Chocolate, KettleCorn, Candy Canes, &amp; much more. There will also be a gift wrapping station at the Post Office Plaza available for your holdiay gift wrapping. Look for The Dancing Fox Winery &amp; Bakery, Zoop-A-Loop, &amp; Woolworth Plaza for their photos with Santa during these Winterfest days.]]></description>

<title>Downtown Trick-or-Treat & Fall Festival</title>
<description><![CDATA[<P>This Saturday, October 31st, the DLBP will be hosting their annual Downtown Trick-or-Treat &amp; Fall Festival from 12 Noon to 5 p.m. Children of all ages are welcome to come enjoy the spirit of Halloween in their costumes&nbsp;downtown, while trick-or-treating at the local merchants. Merchants that are participating will have an orange poster in their window. There will be a pet parade at 1 p.m.&nbsp;ending at the Post Office Plaza.&nbsp;At 4p.m. the kids can show off their costumes on stage in a fashion show for all to see. There will be activities for teh kids, such as, pumpkin painting, carnival games &amp; entertainment. Throughout the festival, local farmers will be selling their fall harvest along with&nbsp;unique craft &amp; food vendors. We hope you enjoy anotehr festive event&nbsp;downtown and we look forward to seeing the youth of Lodi in their costumes ready for the upcoming holiday!&nbsp;</P>]]></description>

<title>Tribute to Our Troops Night at Farmers Market Tomorrow!</title>
<description><![CDATA[The Downtown Lodi Business Partnership is hosting a "Tribute to the Troops" patriotic theme night for Farmers Market tonight between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. They will be giving away free mini flags to the public. The partnership will be honoring 15 of Lodi's future soldiers that have enlisted into the United States Army at 5:45 p.m. on the Entertainment Stage on the corner of Oak and School Streets. At 6:00 p.m., the California Army National Guard's 59th Army Band will perform the National Anthem which kicks off a 2 hour concert by the 39 piece ensemble. The 59th Army Band is currently stationed in Sacramento. The band and its small groups performed at 44 events for over 70,000 people last year (military and civilian) not including nearly 2 million people via local and international television broadcasts. The 59th Army Band has received the State of California Governor's Outstanding Unit Award on several occasions. The The band's mission is to provide musical support to the troops, be an ambassador for the CA Army National Guard, and promote our national interests. The band's 39 members reside throughout northern California and meet about twice a month to rehearse and support military and community events throughout the state. Downtown Lodi is honored to have them perform at tonight's Farmers Market. Come out and show your support and enjoy a night full of patriotic entertainment!]]></description>
